Through her own life experiences, Genevieve has realized that many women, as well as men, can benefit from the holistic approach to health and well-being and the Arvigo Technique of Maya Abdominal Therapy ™. She also realizes that she has been called to do this work. Over the years, she has helped many women with a myriad of health issues, including hormonal imbalances from painful menses, peri/pre-menopause and menopause, as well as pre-conception (fertility issues), and post-partum recovery. She has also successfully treated men and women with abdominal issues such as acid reflux, IBS, digestion issues, chronic constipation, and emotional distress.
Genevieve did not start out as a Holistic Health Practitioner nor was she involved in the health field. As a successful accountant for 13 years, Genevieve completely understands the stresses of corporate life. Genevieve was frequently sick and almost died from a severe asthma attack and bronchitis. She also developed hormonal problems, including endometriosis cysts. After taking various medications with no success, she decided to stop them and soon began having panic attacks. After 6 years of on and off panic attacks and being on and off of various anti-anxiety medications, she decided to make a life change. Genevieve took a hiatus from the accounting world and went to holistic health and massage school.

Within a few years of holistic healing through various modalities of massage, spiritual practices, bioenergetics counseling, neuro-linguistics programming, acupuncture, a complete change in her diet and in her life-style, Genevieve was panic attack free. She also was medication free, anxiety/depression free, and had no signs of endometriosis cysts.

Genevieve thoroughly enjoys facilitating the healing of others and believes in the holistic approach to healing. She treats each client as a whole person by addressing his/her mind, body, spirit and emotions, and she treats all of her clients with the utmost care. Genevieve is the Owner of Gen-Touch Massage and Holistic Therapy and one of San Diego’s leading experts in Women’s Health and Fertility Issues.
